Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) - Production Planning & Control (PPC), Bangalore (Whitefield)

Location and Work Setting

• The role is based in Whitefield, Bengaluru, Karnataka.
• This is an entry-level, office-based planning role in a heavy machine building environment.
• Work location is in person.

Role Summary

Core Requirements

• Recent graduate with a B.E. or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong fundamental knowledge of machining, fabrication, and assembly processes.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Willingness to learn complex industrial ERP and MRP systems.
• Ready to sign a three-year service agreement or bond upon joining.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior planners with production schedules and manufacturing sequences.
• Read engineering drawings and convert them into structured ERP data.
• Support MRP by checking component availability with inventory and stores.
• Maintain BOMs, routings, and progress tracking data in the ERP system.
• Coordinate timelines with production, quality, purchasing, and subcontract vendors.
• Prepare daily and weekly Excel-based production progress reports.

Compensation and Employment

• The salary is ₹345,000 per year, equivalent to 3.45 LPA.
• The position is full-time and permanent.
• Benefits include health insurance and Provident Fund.
