Production Assistant

About the role

Key responsibilities

• Load, unload, carry, and transport cameras, lighting, stands, tripods, cases, cables, and other production equipment and materials.
• Set up and dismantle equipment and production areas; assist crew members with equipment during shoots.
• Organize equipment before and after productions, handle it carefully, and return it to designated storage.
• Support event setup, production, and breakdown, including moving heavy cases, stands, backdrops, props, and furniture.
• Load vehicles safely, transport and deliver production materials, and keep work and storage areas clean and organized.
• Perform general production tasks and provide additional manpower as directed by the Production Manager or Project Manager.
• Follow company safety procedures when handling equipment and materials.
• Work on-site, including outdoor locations and events, with extended hours when required.

Physical requirements

• Good physical fitness and stamina are required; physical and manual work is a core part of the role.
• Must be comfortable standing and walking for extended periods, repeatedly lifting, carrying, loading, and unloading equipment, and assisting with manual setup and dismantling.
• Must be comfortable working outdoors and in event environments while handling equipment safely.

Candidate requirements

• Reliable, punctual, willing to take direction, and able to work under pressure in fast-paced production environments.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills; willing to work at different locations across Abu Dhabi and the UAE.
• Flexible with working hours according to production and event schedules.
• Previous experience in media production, events, logistics, warehouse operations, moving/handling, or similar hands-on work is advantageous.
• Basic camera, lighting, or production equipment knowledge is advantageous but not mandatory; a valid UAE driving license is advantageous.

Pay

• Pay starts at AED 2,000 per month.

Work location

• In-person, field-based work at shoots, events, outdoor locations, and client sites.
