- Lead the definition, prioritization, and continuous improvement of requirements for assigned FinCon product lines
- Conduct product discovery, competitive analysis, and market research across financial content, market data, and fundamental data
- Define detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for engineering teams
- Coordinate with engineering, QA, and design to ensure FinCon features are delivered on schedule and to quality standards
- Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives for assigned FinCon product areas
- Guide and mentor Product Specialists and Business Analysts in requirements documentation, product thinking, and stakeholder communication
- Review product artefacts produced by the team, providing structured feedback
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders including clients, sales, and engineering to gather insights and align on FinCon priorities
- Present product roadmaps, feature updates, and performance reviews to the CPO and leadership
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Information Systems, or a related field
- Minimum 7 years of experience in product management, product analysis, or financial content within financial services, fintech, or capital markets
- Proven track record of managing financial content or market data products and delivering features in agile environments
- Experience mentoring Product Specialists, Business Analysts, or junior product team members
- Fluent in English (spoken and written); Arabic is an advantage

JOB SUMMARY
- The Product Specialist Lead at DirectFN is a senior individual contributor responsible for leading product specialist activities across DirectFN's financial content (FinCon) product line.
- This role combines hands on FinCon product management with a leadership dimension that involves guiding and mentoring Product Specialists and Business Analysts.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in product management, product analysis, or financial content within financial services, fintech, or capital markets.
- Proven track record of managing financial content or market data products and delivering features in agile environments.
- Experience mentoring Product Specialists, Business Analysts, or junior product team members.
