Product Owner - Core Banking
We are seeking an experienced Product Owner - Core Banking to own and enhance the bank's core banking platforms.
This role bridges business and technology teams to deliver secure, compliant, and customer-focused banking capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the vision, roadmap, and backlog for core banking systems (accounts, loans, payments).
- Translate business needs into clear user stories and priorities for Agile delivery teams.
- Act as the primary contact between business stakeholders and technology teams.
- Work closely with Scrum teams to deliver high-quality solutions on time.
- Manage and enhance core banking modules (CIF, CASA, deposits, lending, payments).
- Ensure integration with digital channels and third-party systems.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, risk, and audit requirements.
- Track KPIs and drive continuous product improvement.
Required Experience & Skills
- 5-7 years' experience in banking or financial services.
- 3+ years' experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role in core banking.
- Experience with core banking platforms such as Temenos T24, Finacle, or Flexcube.
- Strong understanding of banking products, payments, and lending.
- Familiarity with APIs, integrations, and Agile delivery.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Agile certification.
