Product Owner ( BA )

• Product Lifecycle Ownership

• Value Chain Alignment

• : Ensure that product features, enhancements, and systems align with the broader value chain and the strategic direction of the business.
• Business and Technology Collaboration
• : Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including operations, compliance, marketing, and IT) to ensure successful product development and delivery.
• Backlog Management
• : Maintain and prioritize a product backlog in collaboration with technology scrum teams.
• Provide necessary business input to inform and refine development roadmaps.

• Prioritization & Balancing Demands

• : Balance competing demands from business stakeholders and internal capabilities, making data-driven decisions to drive product and process improvements.
• Stakeholder Engagement
• : Work closely with internal stakeholders, including business leaders, marketing, and customer service teams, to gather feedback and ensure alignment of product features with customer needs and market trends.
• Continuous Improvement
• : Identify and implement improvements in product development, process flows, and technology systems to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in business, Health Insurance, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3 - 5 years working as Business Analyst or Product owner ideally within the health insurance or healthcare industry.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies, including backlog management and sprint planning, Agile SAFE Framework.
• Experience balancing business needs with internal development capabilities to drive product improvements.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work across business, technology, and operational teams.

Skills

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Familiarity with product management tools such as JIRA or similar platforms.
• Experience with health insurance product development, claims systems, or regulatory compliance.
• Familiarity with customer journey mapping, user experience design, or UX/UI principles.
• Understanding of emerging trends in health tech and insurance technology.
• Any Higher Education/Certifications in Product Ownership is
• desirable.
