Product Lead

Role overview

Product and service responsibilities

• Translate business goals into product outcomes, initiatives and investment priorities; modernise the capability and expand Oracle application adoption.
• Prioritise the backlog, deliver minor enhancements and support projects in line with business value, risk, compliance and operational needs.
• Maintain service performance, availability, adoption and customer satisfaction; coordinate controlled changes and improvements.
• Review incidents and trends, identify automation and improvement opportunities, reduce technical debt and prevent recurring issues.
• Maintain documentation, knowledge resources, operational readiness and a pipeline of process, technology and user-experience enhancements.

Governance and leadership

• Maintain IT General Controls, audit readiness, data integrity, cybersecurity, data governance and enterprise standards; support audits.
• Manage risks, lifecycle priorities, technical debt and recurring service issues, escalating when needed.
• Provide stakeholders with clear performance, risk and dependency insight and recommended actions.
• Lead, coach and develop Product Analysts and Associate Product Analysts, building team capability and collaboration.

Essential experience

• Substantial leadership experience across large, complex Finance application estates.
• Strong functional experience implementing, supporting or optimising Oracle E-Business Suite R12 and Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials.
• Sound IT service management support knowledge and ITIL certification.
• Proven people leadership, analytical and problem-solving capability, including developing teams.

Desirable experience

• Experience leading an Oracle E-Business Suite to Oracle Fusion Cloud migration is desirable.
• Familiarity with Agile product management is desirable.
