Architectural Inspector

Overview

Role Responsibilities

• Inspect partitions, ceilings, raised floors, doors, fire-rated elements, waterproofing, and façade interfaces.
• Check compliance with drawings, method statements, specifications, and quality standards; respond to WIRs, MIRs, and RFIs within defined timelines.
• Monitor workmanship and coordinate with MEP, civil, and life safety teams to resolve interfaces.
• Support fire-stopping inspections, access control coordination, and white-space fit-out activities.
• Maintain inspection reports, snag lists, photographic records, and close-out documentation.
• Assist with punch lists and defect verification; participate in commissioning readiness and handover inspections.
• Escalate quality, safety, and interface concerns to senior engineers and project management.

About You

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in architectural inspection, fit-out, or finishing works.
• Familiarity with QA/QC processes, WIR/MIR workflows, and inspection procedures.
• Knowledge of fire-rated systems, finishes, and building materials.
• Data centre or mission-critical project experience is preferred.
• UPDA certification is preferred; Grade A is an advantage.
• Strong coordination and documentation skills.
