Responsibilities

• Review and approve new products, features, and business initiatives for alignment with FSRA rules and requirements.
• Act as a key contact for product proposals, regulatory queries, and approvals concerning product scope and FSRA compliance.
• Conduct compliance risk assessments, gap analyses, and operational testing for new financial instruments, assets, products, and features.
• Develop product compliance plans with cross-functional teams in line with business-unit objectives.
• Draft, update, and maintain internal compliance policies, frameworks, and monitoring controls.
• Advise, train, and support staff on adherence to product compliance plans.
• Assist with internal compliance audits.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of regulatory compliance experience in fintech, crypto, or traditional financial services.
• Deep familiarity with FSRA rulebooks, particularly GEN, COBS, and MIR.
• Regulatory engagement experience in product compliance and hands-on experience responding to queries on new product approvals.
• Ability to organize rulebook gap analyses and risk assessments and manage detailed proposals for FSRA review and approval.
• Ability to communicate practical, commercial advice to internal stakeholders; strong attention to detail.
