Oversee day-to-day purchasing and longer-term procurement strategy across The Stafford London hotel.
Ensure products, services, and supplies are available when needed while achieving value, quality, and suitable commercial terms.
Purchasing and procurement
- Manage purchasing, purchase orders, stock, inventory, supplier coordination, purchasing records, and urgent purchasing needs.
- Develop sourcing strategies, evaluate suppliers, negotiate terms, support tenders, and monitor supplier performance.
- Identify cost savings, supplier consolidation opportunities, procurement risks, and responsible procurement improvements.
Stakeholders and governance
- Work with operational teams, Finance, and senior leadership on requirements, budgets, trends, supplier performance, and risks.
- Maintain supplier documentation and contracts, support contract reviews and renewals, and ensure due diligence and procurement controls.
Candidate profile
- Previous purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management experience.
- Luxury hospitality, hotel, or similar high-end environment experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of purchasing processes, supplier management, and procurement practices.
- Experience negotiating pricing, contracts, and commercial terms, and managing purchase orders, stock, and inventory.
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to identify cost-saving and value-adding opportunities.
