Role overview

Responsibilities

• Prepare purchase orders for food, beverages, packaging, and operating supplies; compare supplier quotations and recommend options.
• Follow up with suppliers on deliveries, pricing, and quality; coordinate with kitchen and store teams on stock and timely ordering.
• Check goods received against purchase orders and report discrepancies; match invoices with purchase orders and delivery notes, and support payment processing.
• Maintain supplier records, price lists, and purchasing documents; help control food costs and reduce wastage.
• Ensure purchases comply with company policy and Dubai Municipality food safety standards; prepare purchasing and spend reports for the Procurement Manager.

Requirements

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, hospitality, or a related field.
• 2 to 4 years of procurement or purchasing experience; F&B or restaurant experience preferred.
• Good knowledge of the UAE supplier market; strong negotiation and follow-up skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP or inventory systems.
• Good English communication skills; Arabic is an advantage.
• Organised, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience in multi-outlet restaurants or hospitality is preferred.
• Basic food safety or HACCP knowledge is preferred.

Compensation and benefits

• Pay is AED 1,300–2,500 per month, based on experience.
• Benefits include company accommodation, travel allowance, and food during duty time.
