Role overview

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and accurately process dine-in, takeaway, and delivery orders.
• Operate the POS system and handle cash, card, and digital payments; issue bills, receipts, and correct change.
• Open and close the register, balance the till, prepare daily sales reports, and hand cash over to management.
• Coordinate with kitchen and service teams to keep orders accurate.
• Handle phone and reservation inquiries when required; respond politely to guest questions and feedback.
• Apply discounts and promotions correctly and keep the cashier counter clean and organized.
• Follow company policies and food safety and hygiene standards.

Requirements

• Previous cashier experience in a restaurant, café, retail, or food-and-beverage setting is preferred; the description cites 1–2 years.
• Knowledge of POS systems and cash handling; good numeracy and attention to detail.
• Good English communication skills; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
• Honest, reliable, and customer-focused.
• Able to work flexible rostered shifts, including weekends and holidays, in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation and benefits

• Pay is AED 1,300–1,800 per month.
