Hadoota Masreya is hiring an Assistant Chef to support its kitchen team in Business Bay, Dubai.
The role supports preparation of authentic Egyptian dishes, consistent food quality, and smooth kitchen service.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef with daily food preparation, cooking, and plating.
- Prepare traditional Egyptian dishes to recipe, portion, and presentation standards.
- Supervise kitchen staff during shifts and guide junior cooks and helpers.
- Set up and manage stations before and during service.
- Check ingredient quality and freshness on delivery; monitor stock and report shortages.
- Reduce wastage, follow portion controls, and help manage food costs.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization; follow HACCP, hygiene, and Dubai Municipality food safety standards.
- Cover for the Head Chef when required.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of kitchen experience, including at least 1 year as a Chef de Partie or Sous Chef.
- Strong knowledge of Egyptian or Middle Eastern cuisine.
- Able to work under pressure during busy service; good teamwork and communication skills.
- Basic English required; Arabic is an advantage.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred qualifications
- A diploma or certificate in Culinary Arts or Hospitality is preferred.
- Food safety or HACCP certification and experience in busy restaurants or multi-outlet groups are preferred.
- Currently being in the UAE with a valid visa is listed as preferred.

Compensation
- Pay is AED 1,400–1,800 per month, based on experience.
