Procurement Officer

Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily procurement and prepare requests for quotations from approved purchase requests.
• Compare supplier quotations and prepare purchase orders after required approvals.
• Source coffee, food, beverage, packaging, cleaning, uniform, and operational supplies.
• Assist with sourcing coffee machines, grinders, brewing equipment, water filtration, refrigeration, kitchen equipment, and spare parts.
• Identify suppliers, negotiate commercial terms, coordinate with internal teams, and follow up on deliveries.
• Monitor availability, lead times, minimum order quantities, market prices, stock risks, expiry, and wastage.
• Verify delivered goods against orders, specifications, quantities, quality standards, and prices.
• Resolve shortages, damaged goods, delays, quality concerns, returns, credit notes, and invoice discrepancies.
• Maintain procurement records, support supplier evaluations, and prepare spending and performance reports.
• Coordinate with Finance on invoice support and ensure compliance with procedures, food safety, approval limits, and UAE regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, procurement, business administration, finance, or a related field.
• Three to five years of procurement experience, preferably within the UAE.
• Specialty coffee, roastery, café, hospitality, restaurant, catering, FMCG, or premium F&B experience is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of coffee products, food ingredients, packaging, operational supplies, and procurement controls.
• Strong sourcing, quotation comparison, negotiation, purchasing, inventory coordination, and supplier evaluation skills.
• Microsoft Excel and procurement or ERP systems proficiency.
• Ability to manage multiple purchase requests and urgent operational deadlines.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Compensation

• Pay is AED 4,000 to AED 5,000 per month.

Work location

• Work is performed in person.
