Café Manager

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Manage daily café operations, sales performance and plans to increase revenue.
• Control food and labour costs, wastage, operating expenses, cash handling, discounts, voids and closing reports.
• Lead, train, schedule and evaluate employees; conduct briefings and allocate duties.
• Maintain customer service, resolve complaints and ensure consistent food and beverage quality, presentation and service speed.
• Monitor inventory, order supplies, conduct stock checks and investigate discrepancies.
• Ensure food-safety, hygiene, HACCP and municipality compliance; maintain outlet cleanliness and condition.
• Coordinate with kitchen, barista, purchasing, warehouse, maintenance and management teams.
• Submit daily, weekly and monthly reports; take corrective action on poor performance, service failures or policy violations.
• Ensure employees follow company SOPs, grooming standards and attendance policies.

Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years of café or restaurant management experience.
• UAE café or F&B experience is strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to manage sales, costs, inventory and team performance.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills; able to work under pressure.
• Knowledge of POS systems, cash control, operational reporting, food safety, hygiene and HACCP.
• English proficiency required; Arabic is an advantage.
• Must be available for flexible shifts, weekends and public holidays; immediate joiners are preferred.

Compensation

• Pay is AED 3,500–5,500 per month.

• Work location is in person in Al Ain, Abu Dhabi, UAE.
