Experience and industry
- Relevant procurement experience and four to five years of procurement or sourcing experience.
- UAE or GCC exposure is preferred.
- F&B, FMCG, HORECA, food distribution, trading, or retail procurement expertise is strongly preferred.
- Should understand products, suppliers, pricing, shelf life, minimum order quantities, and lead times.
Sourcing and negotiation
- Personally identify, source, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers, rather than only processing purchase orders or maintaining an existing vendor list.
- Demonstrate actual supplier negotiations covering pricing, credit terms, minimum order quantities, rebates, delivery, lead time, or landed cost.
- Use procurement systems, Excel, supplier comparisons, RFQs, purchase orders, GRNs, cost analysis, and supplier performance tracking.
Pay
- AED 15,000 per month.
