The company is seeking a Procurement Engineer for fit-out projects.
The role requires experience in procurement, supplier coordination, material sourcing, and commercial evaluation.
Key Responsibilities
- Review drawings, BOQs, specifications, and procurement requirements.
- Source materials, suppliers, and subcontractors according to project scope.
- Obtain, compare, and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
- Negotiate commercial terms, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
- Coordinate with estimation, design, and project teams.
- Prepare procurement comparison sheets and recommendation reports.
- Track material approvals, procurement status, and delivery schedules.
- Ensure procurement meets time, budget, quality, and project requirements.
- Support cost control and reporting related to procurement packages.
- Maintain procurement records, supplier databases, and supporting documentation.
- Manage multiple procurement packages and follow up on critical supplier timelines.
- Support procurement planning and vendor selection decisions.
Required Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Relevant procurement experience in fit-out or construction projects.
- Good understanding of fit-out materials, specifications, and market rates.
- Ability to review drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications for procurement.
- Experience in supplier negotiation, quotation comparison, and commercial evaluation.
- Good coordination and follow-up skills with suppliers, project teams, and subcontractors.
- Proficiency in Excel and procurement documentation.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
Preferred Requirements
- Experience in the UAE market.
- Experience in luxury fit-out projects.
- Familiarity with procurement schedules, material approvals, and subcontractor packages.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple procurement packages.
