Full-time, on-site Electrical and Mechanical Draftsman roles based in Dubai.
Produce accurate electrical and mechanical drawings using AutoCAD; Revit knowledge is a plus.
Work with the engineering team to ensure designs meet project specifications.
Responsibilities
- Prepare shop drawings and as-built drawings for MEP systems.
- Interpret design specifications, tender drawings, and engineer or consultant requirements.
- Ensure drawings comply with UAE standards, regulations, and project specifications.
- Coordinate across MEP and other disciplines to prevent clashes and maintain accuracy.
- Update drawings for design changes, site conditions, and feedback.
- Maintain drawing, revision, and approval documentation.
- Assist with quantity take-offs and material submittals when required.
Qualifications and experience
- Minimum 6–10 years of MEP drafting experience in the UAE.
- Proficient in electrical and mechanical engineering drawings and mandatory AutoCAD.
- Revit/BIM knowledge is advantageous.
- Familiarity with UAE building codes and authority standards, including Dubai Municipality, DEWA, and ADDC.
- Able to interpret and produce precise technical drawings; attentive and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Good communication and coordination skills for liaising with engineers, consultants, and site teams.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
- Construction or consultancy experience, including high-end luxury villas, penthouses, restaurants, and commercial projects.
