Procurement Assistant

About the Role

Location and Work Arrangement

• The position is based in Doha, Qatar.
• Work location is in person.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day purchasing activities and obtain supplier quotations.
• Compare supplier pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
• Prepare and process purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
• Follow up on deliveries and resolve delivery or invoice discrepancies.
• Maintain procurement records, supplier databases, and purchase documentation.
• Coordinate internal procurement requirements and support vendor evaluation.
• Assist with inventory monitoring and replenishment planning.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and update ERP transactions.
• Perform other procurement and administrative tasks assigned by the Procurement Manager.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, or a related field.
• Three years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain support.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills with good organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of procurement processes and documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Odoo ERP is an added advantage.
• A valid Qatar driving license is preferred.
• Experience in the IT, ELV, ICT, or construction industry is preferred.
• Familiarity with local suppliers and procurement practices in Qatar is an advantage.

Compensation

• Pay is QAR 3,000 to QAR 3,500 per month.
