Odoo Implementation Specialist

Role purpose

Implementation and process ownership

• Gather requirements, conduct workshops, document processes, prepare functional specifications, and identify gaps between standard Odoo and company needs.
• Coordinate module configuration, customization, integration, testing, data migration, deployment, and go-live activities.
• Map and optimize workflows across CRM, sales, purchasing, inventory, accounting, projects, HR, helpdesk, documents, and related modules.
• Review vendor deliverables, control scope and customization, track risks and issues, and escalate unresolved matters.

Testing, data, and integrations

• Develop UAT plans, coordinate departmental testing, track defects, perform regression testing, verify fixes, and recommend production readiness.
• Coordinate legacy data migration, mapping, reconciliation, cleansing, validation, and business-owner sign-off.
• Document and validate integrations, data flows, interfaces, API requirements, and end-to-end transactions.

Administration and adoption

• Support users, roles, access permissions, master data, workflows, approvals, reports, dashboards, and functional issue resolution.
• Maintain requirements, configuration, customization, integration, testing, defect, change, release, and user documentation.
• Coordinate training, develop user guides, provide post-go-live support, and promote adoption and continuous improvement.

Required experience

• 4 to 7 years of ERP implementation experience with significant hands-on Odoo experience.
• Participation in at least 2 to 3 complete Odoo implementation lifecycles from requirements through go-live and support.
• Strong knowledge of multiple Odoo modules, ERP business processes, cross-module workflows, requirements gathering, gap analysis, UAT, training, data migration, and reconciliation.
• Experience coordinating external Odoo implementation partners and independently challenging vendor solutions.

Technical knowledge

• Working knowledge of Odoo architecture, Community and Enterprise editions, Odoo Studio, access controls, workflows, reporting, and bulk-data management.
• Working knowledge of REST/API integration concepts, PostgreSQL fundamentals, XML/JSON, Git, and development, staging, UAT, and production environments.
• Python development capability is advantageous but is not the primary purpose of the role.

Preferred qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Information Systems, Finance, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Odoo certification, ERP or business-analysis certification, Qatar/GCC organizational experience, and experience with complex departmental approval workflows are advantageous.

Compensation

• The advertised pay range is QAR 5,000 to QAR 7,000 per month.

• The position is full-time, in-house, and based in an in-person work location.
