Engineering and delivery responsibilities
- Lead engineering for PLC, SCADA, BMS, ELV/safety and security, and OT integration systems.
- Review technical deliverables including FDS, LLD, I/O and points lists, interface and alarm matrices, test procedures, as-builts, and O&M documents.
- Guide system configuration, database development, graphics, alarms, trends, reports, and dashboards.
- Lead multi-vendor integration and validate interfaces using applicable industrial protocols and system connections.
- Coordinate with OEMs, vendors, ICT/network teams, and engineers to resolve integration issues and manage dependencies.
- Plan and manage FAT, SAT, integrated testing, loop checks, functional and failover testing, commissioning, and punch closure.
- Support troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and stabilization; ensure complete test evidence, backups, and handover documentation.
- Coordinate team tasks, progress, technical reviews, workshops, vendor and client meetings, project planning, resourcing, and reporting.
- Support sales and proposal teams with technical inputs, BOQ, tender support, and solution review when required.
- Maintain quality and document control, HSE and permit-to-work compliance, change control, and technically traceable submissions.
Key skills and platforms
- Strong leadership in OT, automation, SCADA, BMS, and ELV system delivery.
- Industrial protocols include Modbus TCP/RTU, BACnet, OPC UA/DA, Profinet/Profibus, Ethernet/IP, MQTT, API/HTTP, and SQL/historian interfaces, as applicable.
- Platforms include Siemens, Schneider, Rockwell, Mitsubishi, Honeywell, Trend, Niagara, WinCC/WinCC OA, AVEVA, Ignition, ICONICS, or similar.
- Strong experience in FAT/SAT, commissioning, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, system handover, coordination, documentation, reporting, planning, and team management.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Automation, or a related engineering discipline.
- 15–18 years of experience is preferred, with strong experience in automation, SCADA, BMS, ELV/safety and security systems, integration, commissioning, and project delivery.
Compensation
- Pay is QAR 15,000–20,000 per month.

- Work is in person.
