Procurement Analyst

Provide accurate information for purchasing, inventory, supplier, and sourcing decisions; escalate exceptions and matters requiring Buyer or management authority.
Purchasing and supplier coordination
- Coordinate with suppliers on purchase order acknowledgments, order status, shipment schedules, and documentation.
- Support Buyers and management with analysis and escalate material shortages, supplier concerns, pricing discrepancies, and inventory risks.
- Assist with supplier onboarding, documentation, and system setup.
- Create and maintain purchase orders using approved requirements, established parameters, and Buyer or management direction; the available description ends during this duty.
Inventory, sourcing, and analysis
- Support product introductions, supplier transitions, and special orders to align material availability with production timelines and delivery commitments.
- Monitor MRP, inventory, purchase orders, forecasts, and supplier information to identify requirements and supply concerns.
- Analyze excess inventory, shortages, and material availability.
- Analyze purchasing and inventory data to identify trends, exceptions, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Support sourcing and RFQs by gathering specifications, requesting quotations, organizing supplier responses, and preparing cost and quotation comparisons for review.
- Research discrepancies in purchasing, inventory, supplier, and item data; support system, master data, reporting, and process improvement initiatives.
Cross-functional collaboration
Work with Procurement, Planning, Production, Engineering, Logistics, Compliance, Finance, Customer Service, and other departments on routine purchasing and data issues.
Pay
- Pay is listed as USD 17–21 per hour.
