Impact and responsibilities
- Ensure inventory transactions are accurately recorded and classified for financial reporting.
- Develop procedures, control enhancements, training materials, and process improvements.
- Support process, system, and control rollouts, including cycle counts and reconciliation with third-party contractors.
- Provide insights that improve inventory accuracy, accountability, and operational performance.
- Identify high-risk processes and recommend solutions to reduce discrepancies and compliance exposure.
- Use Excel, business intelligence tools such as MicroStrategy, and emerging AI capabilities to analyze high-volume SKU and location data.
- Maintain monitoring frameworks covering aging, activity, risk indicators, audits, and cycle-count programs.
- Support ERP and inventory-management transitions through analysis, testing, implementation, and post-launch stabilization.
