The role
The role is a Junior Process Intelligence Consultant embedded with a financial services or retail client.
The engagement is alongside senior Pi Mapper specialists.
What you will do
- Support event log extraction and process mining, including analysis of rework loops and undocumented exceptions.
- Help rank process opportunities by volume, variants, effort, and risk.
- Contribute to operating model redesign across people, agents, and existing systems, with task ownership and escalation paths.
- Gather and reconcile policies, decision rules, exception precedents, and tribal knowledge into a versioned context pack.
- Support building evaluation sets from historical cases for go-live assurance.
What you bring
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in process mining, data analytics, or process/operations transformation; financial services or retail experience is ideal.
- Hands-on experience with process mining tools such as ARIS, Celonis, or SAP Signavio.
- Working knowledge of SQL and/or Python, and familiarity with ETL and query languages such as PQL.
- Ability to work with event data and communicate findings in business-friendly language.
- Willingness to work embedded with a client team and travel to client sites as needed.
- Process mining certifications or Lean/Six Sigma exposure are a plus, not requirements.
Engagement and workplace
- Embedded placement with a financial services or retail client; sectors include banks, lenders, insurers, retail, and shared service functions.
- Based in the UK or Europe, with client site time as needed.
- Work location is described as hybrid remote in London.
Pay
- Pay is £400–£450 per day.
