Researches, designs, develops, and analyzes specialty systems, including signaling and imaging, radio frequency, and optical systems.
Works on complex systems and may advise multidisciplinary teams or run projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop requirements analyses and system architecture, and support complex system development.
- Perform specialty-discipline analyses and prepare documentation.
- Analyze and evaluate test and production data; prepare technical analyses.
- Recommend engineering methods and processes to meet design objectives for new or improved products and processes.
- Apply research on complex systems to achieve desired outcomes.
Education and experience
- Bachelor's degree in a related field with at least 7 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of related training and experience.
- Requires in-depth knowledge and experience.
Role scope
Solves complex problems, works independently with guidance in the most complex situations, and impacts customer, operational, project, or service objectives.
