Pricing Analyst Intern

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain dashboards tracking inventory health, market competitiveness, and gross margin performance.
• Analyze competitive pricing data and market intelligence.
• Write and optimize SQL queries in BigQuery and Postgres to extract, clean, and validate production data.
• Build pricing models in Google Sheets or Python and update pricing reports daily, weekly, and monthly.
• Prototype AI-assisted workflows with Claude and ChatGPT to automate repetitive analysis.
• Work with Supply, Sales, and Commercial teams to align pricing signals with business targets.

Tools

• Tools include Google Sheets, Google Slides, SQL, data analysis, BigQuery, Claude, ChatGPT, and optionally Python.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate within the last 12 months in engineering, business administration, economics, finance, industrial engineering, or another quantitative or analytical field.
• Strong academic record, such as GPA 3.5+, First Class Honours, or Distinction.
• Analytical thinker with intellectual curiosity, able to turn ambiguous problems into clear recommendations.
• Clear, structured communicator in writing and presentations; proactive and detail-oriented.
• Able to learn quickly, work with limited guidance, and take ownership in a fast-paced environment.
• Achievement beyond the expected bar is valued, including recognized competitions, projects, founding or leadership experience, or hackathon wins.
