Job Purpose
Coordinate and supervise warehouse material preservation activities, plans, processes, procedures, and KPIs.
Ensure materials are protected, preserved, and fit for use in line with operational and end-user needs.
Lead third-party contractor activities and preservation team execution to meet safety, availability, and reliability standards.
Key Job Accountabilities
- Coordinate and monitor preservation activities and KPIs against divisional objectives and performance expectations.
- Assess preservation needs by analyzing material types, storage durations, and physical conditions.
- Supervise contractors and warehouse staff, including milestone delivery and compliance with contract terms and scope.
- Conduct inspections and coordinate corrective action for storage, material condition, and Material Master preservation misalignments.
- Coordinate with Engineering and original equipment manufacturers on technical preservation issues.
- Report activity plans versus actuals, variance analysis, issues, milestones, progress, and improvement actions to management.
- Guide and mentor preservation personnel and contractors on task knowledge, job readiness, and safe handling practices.
- Conduct Management of Change activity for material preservation practices and support inventory readiness.
Role Capabilities
- Assess material preservation requirements and risks using storage duration, material type, and physical condition.
- Coordinate technical issues with Engineering and original equipment manufacturers.
- Support safe, compliant, and reliable warehouse material preservation operations.
