Do you enjoy partnering with customers and sales teams to shape solutions that solve real business challenges?
Are you excited to combine application development, cloud, and DevSecOps in a customer-facing role?
You will be part of our Cloud and Application Services team, working closely with sales, delivery, and AWS specialists to design and position application transformation solutions for enterprise customers.
The Pre-Sales Solution Architect supports the design and positioning of application development solutions on AWS.
This role works closely with customers, sales, and technical teams to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and practical solution approaches.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with sales teams and customers to understand business requirements and translate them into solution concepts
- Design and present scalable, secure, and reliable application architectures on AWS, including proposals and cost models
- Lead technical discussions, workshops, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept sessions
- Apply application development expertise (.NET or Java) with modern frontend technologies to shape solution design
- Embed DevSecOps practices, including CI/CD, containerization, and secure development principles
- Prepare solution documentation and ensure smooth handover to delivery teams
Job Requirements
- Experience designing application solutions on AWS in a customer-facing or presales environment
- Strong knowledge of application development using .NET or Java, with exposure to modern frontend frameworks
- Understanding of AWS services (e.g., compute, storage, networking) and ability to design cloud-native solutions
- Knowledge of DevSecOps practices, including CI/CD and container-based deployments
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders
- Experience with microservices, serverless architectures, and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
