Power BI Developer

Company Overview

Role Objective

Specific Assignments

• Develop and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, semantic models, datasets, DAX measures, KPIs, scorecards, and Power Query processes.
• Build Python automation scripts, .NET services, API integrations, and connections to enterprise applications, databases, and cloud services.
• Gather stakeholder requirements, troubleshoot and optimize reporting solutions, support deployments, and provide Level 3 technical support.
• Follow development, governance, security, software engineering, and Agile/Scrum practices.

Other Assignments

• Provide regular status updates and maintain knowledge of Eurofins business processes, platforms, and reporting requirements.
• Build effective relationships with IT and non-IT stakeholders across Eurofins.
• Create technical, operational, and user documentation and maintain test cases and validation procedures.
• Contribute to continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and mentoring activities.

Required Experience

• Minimum 4 years of IT industry experience, including at least 3 years of hands-on Power BI development.
• Experience with enterprise reporting and analytics solutions and Agile/Scrum environments.

Technology Skills

• Power BI skills include Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, administration, data modeling, DAX, Power Query, deployment pipelines, row-level security, and report performance optimization.
• Required data technologies include SQL Server, T-SQL, data warehousing, ETL, data integration, Python, automation, APIs, .NET, C#, ASP.NET Core, REST APIs, and backend services.
• Additional technologies include Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure DevOps, Git, Power Automate, Databricks, Azure Functions, JSON/XML, and CI/CD concepts.

Preferred Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering, data analytics, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Certifications in Power BI, Azure Data Platform, Microsoft Fabric, or data analytics are advantageous.
• Laboratory application experience is advantageous.
