A Postdoctoral Fellow position is available in the Department of Mathematical Sciences, College of Science, at United Arab Emirates University.

Appointment
- The appointment is for 12 months, with possible extension subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
Salary
- The description states an approximate tax-free monthly salary of AED 9,000 and separately lists a salary range of AED 8,000–9,000.
Minimum qualification
- A PhD in Low-Dimensional Topology or a closely related field is required.
- The successful candidate is expected to have a strong background in low-dimensional topology and string theory, advanced computational skills, and a proven record of high-quality research.
Research duties
- Work with the Principal Investigator to investigate quantum invariants, BPS spectra, and reformulated invariants of links and three-manifolds.
- Establish relationships between these invariants and the topological properties of knots, links, and three-manifolds.
- Produce original theoretical results suitable for publication in high-impact international research journals.
- Research progress will be reviewed through regular meetings with the Principal Investigator.
