The Center for AI and Digital Innovation invites applications for postdoctoral research fellow positions.
Research areas include agentic AI, small language models, and responsible AI.
Responsibilities
- Conduct innovative research and develop novel AI methodologies.
- Publish in leading international conferences and journals.
- Contribute to collaborative research projects and practical AI applications.
Minimum qualifications
- PhD in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a closely related field.
- Strong research background in at least one of the three research areas.
- Demonstrated research publications and ability to conduct independent research.
- Strong Python programming skills and experience with ML frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Excellent scientific writing, communication, and teamwork skills.
Preferred qualifications
- Top-tier AI/ML conference publications and ability to develop novel AI algorithms, models, or methodologies are preferred.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, multi-agent systems, reinforcement learning, efficient language models, or trustworthy AI is preferred.
- Reproducible research prototypes and rigorous experimental evaluation experience are preferred.
- Research collaborations, competitive grant proposals, or open-source AI contributions are preferred.
