Role overview
Deliver automation and control-command systems for traction projects.
Work with engineering, cybersecurity, field operations, and support teams.
Responsibilities
- Perform basic automation engineering activities for projects or programs.
- Define automation and control-command system architectures and provide technical and interface specifications.
- Monitor subcontractors for automation programs and cubicles.
- Participate in factory acceptance tests for automation systems.
- Support Field Operations teams with design-related technical issues.
- Participate in change and configuration processes, including maintaining automation configuration lists.
- Contribute to Return of Experience analysis to improve future projects.
Qualifications
- Degree in Automation Systems Engineering.
- At least five years of experience in automation systems; railway transportation experience is preferred.
- Experience in test and commissioning or troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of electrical installation at high, medium, and low voltage.
- Fluent English; Arabic and/or French is a plus.
- Autonomy, motivation, initiative, and interest in technical topics.
