The Pool Lifeguard is responsible for ensuring the safety of all pool patrons by preventing accidents, responding to emergencies, and enforcing pool rules and regulations.
The lifeguard maintains a safe, clean, and enjoyable swimming environment for all guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise swimmers and maintain constant vigilance over the pool area.
- Enforce all pool rules and regulations in a fair and consistent manner.
- Perform water rescues, CPR, and first aid when necessary.
- Monitor weather and water conditions to ensure safety.
- Conduct routine inspections of pool equipment and facilities.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of pool deck and lifeguard station.
- Record daily attendance, incidents, and maintenance issues as required.
- Provide excellent customer service and assist patrons as needed.
- Participate in regular training sessions and emergency drills.
