Supports recreation activities and guest use of facilities such as pools, beach areas, fitness centers, and child activity centers.
Promotes a fun, relaxing, and safe guest experience.
Guest and recreation support
- Provide information about recreation facilities and activities; encourage, register, and schedule guest participation.
- Promote facility rules and observe activities, responding to emergencies according to local procedures.
- Identify unsafe participation situations, inform a supervisor, and assist injured guests until emergency medical services arrive.
- Help host private functions with group activities and events.
- Provide cashier services and process payments for equipment rentals, activities, facility rentals, and retail sales.
- Clean and maintain recreation facilities, equipment, and supplies.
Safety, service, and work practices
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions and complete safety training and certifications.
- Welcome guests, anticipate and address service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and communicate professionally.
- Follow company policies and quality standards; maintain a clean, professional appearance and protect confidential information and company assets.
- Use computers or point-of-sale systems and inspect tools or equipment as needed.
- The role involves extended periods standing, sitting, or walking; lifting and moving objects; and navigating stairs, ramps, uneven or slippery surfaces, and confined spaces.
Required qualifications
- CPR certification.
- First Aid certification.
- Recreation equipment qualification.
- Certifications or training required by local and state agencies.
Preferred qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- No related work experience or supervisory experience is specified.
