Key Responsibilities
- Polish, buff, grind, and finish surfaces according to specifications
- Operate polishing machines, grinders, buffers, and hand tools safely
- Remove scratches, dents, rust, or imperfections from surfaces
- Inspect finished products for quality and consistency
- Clean and maintain polishing equipment and work areas
- Follow safety procedures and use protective equipment
- Measure and prepare materials before polishing
- Report defects or damaged items to supervisors
- Meet daily production and quality targets
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in polishing, buffing, grinding, or finishing work is an advantage
- Ability to use hand and power tools
- Good attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
- Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods
- Knowledge of workplace safety standards
- Ability to work independently and in a team
Preferred Experience
- Experience in manufacturing, automotive, metal fabrication, furniture, marble, or jewelry polishing
- Familiarity with different polishing compounds and finishing techniques
Working Conditions
- Factory, workshop, construction site, or production environment
- Exposure to dust, noise, and chemicals
- May require lifting heavy materials and working shifts
