PMU / Permanent Makeup Artist

Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Perform microblading, powder brows, combination brows, ombre brows, eyebrow tattooing, lip tattooing or lip blush, and permanent eyeliner.
• Conduct consultations, assess facial features and requirements, and recommend suitable procedures.
• Provide bridal and professional makeup services when required.
• Perform qualified correction, touch-up, and removal procedures for existing PMU.
• Apply temporary lashes and other beauty enhancements.
• Create customized eyebrow shapes, lip designs, and overall looks for individual facial features.
• Maintain hygiene, sanitation, sterilization, and client safety standards.
• Maintain client records, treatment details, consent forms, and aftercare instructions.
• Explain procedures, expected results, aftercare, and possible touch-up requirements.
• Provide aftercare guidance and follow-up support.
• Keep tools, equipment, workstations, and treatment areas clean and organized.
• Stay current with PMU techniques, pigments, tools, trends, and beauty practices, and support junior artist development when required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 5–10 years of proven professional experience as a PMU Artist or Permanent Makeup Artist.
• Strong experience in microblading, powder brows, lip blush or lip tattooing, and permanent eyeliner.
• Knowledge of facial symmetry, eyebrow mapping, skin types, pigment selection, and colour theory.
• Strong knowledge of hygiene and sanitation procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail and precision.
• Ability to create customized looks according to individual facial features.
• Good client consultation and communication skills.
• Professional, well-presented, and customer-focused.
• Ability to work independently and within a beauty or salon team.
• Candidates currently available in Qatar are preferred.

Client Service and Development

• Maintain a professional appearance and deliver a high level of customer service.
• Support the training and development of junior makeup or beauty artists where required.

Compensation

• Pay is QAR 4,000–5,000 per month.

Workplace

• Work location is in person.
