Qualifications and requirements
- Proven hands-on experience on Qatar Energy projects is mandatory.
- At least 5 years of dedicated HSE experience within Qatar Energy operations or projects.
- Must be locally based in Qatar with immediate availability to join.
HSE leadership and site supervision
- Lead the site HSE team, direct daily field activities and act as primary safety liaison with project managers, clients, consultants and Qatar Energy project management.
- Oversee safe operational processes and enforce company policies and local regulatory standards.
Permit to Work and eCPW
- Direct end-to-end eCPW submissions, reviews and approvals for permits, designs and construction documents in line with Qatar Energy guidelines.
- Manage permit tracking, extensions, approval follow-up and close-out requirements.
- Sanction eCPW applications daily and conduct high-level site compliance verifications.
Risk management and auditing
- Lead Job Hazard Analyses and risk assessments, identify hazards and enforce effective controls.
- Lead internal HSE audits, provide technical documentation and contribute to HSE Management System Reviews.
- Oversee incident reporting, root-cause investigations and recurrence-prevention tracking.
Safety culture and training
- Drive continuous improvement of Qatar Energy safety culture across construction sites.
- Audit contractor PTW compliance, workforce competency and safety behaviours at the point of work.
- Oversee the project Training Plan and competency development initiatives.
- Facilitate communication between contractor execution teams and company safety stakeholders to resolve compliance challenges.
Compensation
- Pay is QAR 4,000–5,500 per month.
