Role Description

This is a part -time, on-site PMP Trainer role based in Doha, Qatar.

The PMP Trainer will design and deliver instructor-led Project Management Professional (PMP) training sessions, ensuring alignment with PMI standards and the latest exam content outline.

Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing course materials, case studies, and practice exams; facilitating interactive classroom sessions; and providing individualized guidance to help learners understand concepts and apply best practices.

The trainer will assess learner progress through assignments, quizzes, and mock exams, offering constructive feedback and exam-readiness support.

The role also involves updating course content, integrating real-world project scenarios, collaborating with the academic team to enhance training quality, and maintaining accurate training records and reports.

Qualifications

  • Strong project management expertise, with demonstrated experience leading or managing projects across scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Proven instructional, facilitation, and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and engage diverse groups of adult learners.
  • Curriculum design and training material development experience, including creating case studies, exercises, and mock exam questions aligned with PMP standards.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and mentorship abilities, with strong interpersonal skills and a learner-centered approach.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use learner performance data and feedback to continuously improve course delivery.
  • Current PMP certification from PMI (mandatory), with up-to-date knowledge of PMI frameworks, methodologies, and the latest PMP exam content outline.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline; advanced degrees or additional project management certifications (e.g., CAPM, PMI-ACP, PRINCE2) are an advantage.
  • Prior experience as a corporate trainer, instructor, or educator in project management or related fields, preferably in a professional training center or higher education environment.
