Job Summary

• The Planning Manager is responsible for overseeing project planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring to ensure timely and efficient execution of projects.
• This role involves developing detailed project plans, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring alignment with project objectives, timelines, and resource allocation.
• The position plays a critical role in driving project efficiency, minimizing delays, and ensuring successful project delivery.
• Roles and Responsibilities
• Develop, implement, and maintain detailed project schedules using appropriate planning tools
• Define project scope, timelines, milestones, and deliverables in coordination with stakeholders
• Monitor project progress and identify potential delays or risks, implementing corrective actions proactively
• Prepare and update project reports, dashboards, and progress tracking documentation
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure alignment with project plans
• Analyze resource requirements and ensure optimal allocation of manpower, materials, and equipment
• Conduct variance analysis to compare planned vs. actual progress and recommend improvements
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, contractual requirements, and company standards
• Support project management in decision-making through data-driven insights and planning reports
• Participate in project meetings and provide updates on schedule performance and key risks
• Implement planning best practices to improve efficiency and reduce project delays
• Maintain proper documentation of schedules, changes, and planning records

Mandatory Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field
• Minimum 8–12 years of experience in project planning and scheduling
• Proven experience in large-scale industrial, oil & gas, or construction projects preferred
• Proficiency in planning tools such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent
• Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies
