Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Prepare baseline programmes aligned with main contractor programmes, contract milestones and TAQA approval and supply activation lead times.
• Resource- and cost-load programmes; prepare manpower histograms and cash-flow forecasts.
• Update programmes weekly and monthly and issue progress reports, S-curves and earned value figures.
• Issue three-week look-ahead plans and track actual progress against plan.
• Flag delays, prepare time impact analyses and support extension-of-time claims.
• Track submittal, approval and procurement schedules for long-lead LV panels, light fittings and ELV head-end equipment.
• Attend planning and progress meetings with main contractors and consultants; prepare management progress dashboards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
• At least 6 years of building-project planning experience, including at least 3 years on UAE MEP or electrical building works.
• Expert in Primavera P6; proficient in MS Project and Excel.
• Working knowledge of FIDIC time provisions and delay analysis methods.

Preferred qualifications

• PMI-SP or PMP certification is preferred.
• Experience with building programmes involving TAQA Distribution connection and supply activation milestones is preferred.

Pay

• AED 5,000–10,000 per month.
