We are seeking a
Planning Engineer
with experience in
EPC, Construction, and Oil & Gas projects
.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and controlling the
overall project construction plan
from initiation to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and develop the
- overall construction schedule
- and project execution plan.
- Create and maintain
- baseline programs
- , look-ahead schedules, and recovery plans.
- Develop project timelines for Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) activities.
- Monitor project progress and identify delays, risks, and critical path activities.
- Prepare and update
- weekly and monthly progress reports
- , S-curves, and schedule analyses.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Procurement, and other stakeholders to ensure project milestones are achieved.
- Conduct resource planning and monitor manpower and equipment utilization.
- Analyze schedule variances and recommend corrective actions to maintain project timelines.
- Support project management with planning, forecasting, and reporting requirements.
- Ensure compliance with contractual milestones and project objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in
- Civil, Mechanical, or a related Engineering discipline
- .
- **3–5 years of experience**
- as a Planning Engineer in
EPC, Construction, or Oil & Gas
- projects.
- Strong proficiency in
Primavera P6
; knowledge of
MS Project
- is an added advantage.
- Ability to independently prepare and manage complete project schedules.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
- UAE experience is preferred.
