About the role

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed schedules, baseline programmes, critical path analyses, milestones, and project deliverables.
• Monitor progress, identify schedule risks and delays, and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate progress updates with consultants, contractors, project managers, internal teams, design teams, and technical teams.
• Review contractor and consultant programmes, progress reports, recovery schedules, and project submissions.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, look-ahead programmes, and management updates; attend progress meetings.
• Assess schedule effects of changes, variations, design revisions, and site issues.
• Support master programmes, procurement schedules, design deliverables, construction sequences, and milestone monitoring.
• Maintain planning records and assist with extension-of-time claims, delay analysis, and contractual submissions where required.
• Ensure planning and reporting comply with company procedures, project requirements, and applicable UAE regulations.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related engineering discipline.
• At least 10 years of project planning and scheduling experience in construction, consultancy, or real estate development.
• UAE construction industry experience is stated as required or strongly preferred; the posting also requests understanding of local project delivery practices.
• Primavera P6 proficiency is essential; MS Project and advanced Excel are advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of scheduling, CPM, progress measurement, delay analysis, construction sequencing, procurement timelines, design coordination, and project controls.
• Consultancy experience, especially PMC or engineering consultancy, is preferred.
• Residential, luxury residential, high-rise, or large-scale development experience is highly desirable.
• Experience reviewing contractor programmes, baseline schedules, recovery plans, and progress reports.
• Familiarity with construction contracts and extension-of-time assessments is advantageous.
