Role Overview
The Project Department is seeking a Planning Engineer to optimize project timelines, manage resources, and support delivery within schedule and budget targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
- Monitor site progress, identify potential delays, and propose catch-up plans.
- Analyze manpower, equipment, and material requirements for optimal allocation.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports with S-curves, histograms, and KPIs.
- Identify critical path risks and work with technical teams to resolve bottlenecks.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and internal departments on project milestones.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Industrial Engineering.
- 3–5 years of planning experience.
- Experience in Oil and Gas, Utilities, or MEP sectors is preferred.
- Expert-level proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Excel.
- Understanding of CPM and PERT project management methodologies.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
