The candidate should have hands-on PHP/Laravel and Angular experience, and understand scalable web applications, REST APIs, databases, and modern development practices.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using PHP/Laravel and Angular; build responsive front ends with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Develop and integrate REST APIs, backend services, business logic, and database-driven applications; work with SQL databases and third-party services.
- Troubleshoot frontend and backend issues; write reusable, maintainable, well-documented code and participate in code reviews.
- Collaborate with developers, QA, product, and business stakeholders to deliver solutions.
- Improve application performance, security, scalability, and reliability; support deployment, maintenance, and production issue resolution.
- Stay current with relevant technologies, frameworks, and development practices.
Required qualifications
- 3–5 years of professional software development experience; strong hands-on PHP and Angular experience.
- Practical experience with Laravel or a similar PHP framework.
- Knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS, REST APIs, SQL, and relational databases.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming and software development principles; experience with Git or version control.
- Good debugging and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Preferred skills and qualities
- MySQL or PostgreSQL, OAuth or JWT, application security, Docker or cloud environments, CI/CD, Agile/Scrum, and automated testing are good to have.
