Collect blood samples safely and accurately in a healthcare clinic while following patient care protocols and DHA regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or certification in Phlebotomy or Medical Laboratory Technology.
- At least 1–2 years of phlebotomy experience in the UAE healthcare sector is mandatory.
- Valid DHA license or eligibility for one.
- Knowledge of venipuncture, sample collection, infection control, safety, patient identification, and labeling.
- Able to work in a fast-paced clinical environment with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and patient-handling skills; professional and ethical conduct.
Responsibilities
- Collect venous and capillary blood samples for laboratory testing.
- Identify patients and label specimens correctly; handle, store, and transport samples to laboratory standards.
- Follow infection-control, safety, hygiene, DHA, and clinic protocols.
- Maintain the phlebotomy area and assist and reassure patients during collection.
- Document patient information and test requests accurately; report adverse reactions or incidents to the clinical supervisor.
Technical skills
- Blood collection techniques and laboratory sample handling.
- Basic computer skills for patient data entry and documentation.
Pay
- AED 4,000–4,500 per month.
Employment
- Full-time position.
- Immediate joiners are preferred.
