Early-career operations role supporting an established international shipping company.
The position requires hands-on container-vessel stowage-planning experience and is not documentation-only or general freight-forwarding work.
Key responsibilities
- Support container-vessel stowage planning.
- Support vessel scheduling and operational monitoring.
- Coordinate with vessel Masters, agents, and terminals.
- Manage container equipment operations.
- Coordinate maintenance and repair activities.
- Handle depot, storage, and container-damage matters.
- Prepare operational reports and resolve issues.
- Support process and system improvements.
Essential requirements
- Practical exposure to container-vessel stowage planning.
- 1–3 years of experience in container shipping, liner, feeder, or terminal operations.
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Shipping, Maritime, Logistics, or Engineering.
- Strong Excel, reporting, and problem-solving ability.
- Flexibility to support 24/7 shipping operations when required.
- UAE-based or able to relocate to Dubai.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 12,000–AED 15,000 per month.
Workplace
- Work location is in person.
