About The Role

We are seeking a proactive, highly organized, and empathetic **Patient and Insurance Coordinator** to join our Abu Dhabi team.

This role is the vital link between our patients, clinical team, and insurance providers.

You will be the welcoming face of our branch, managing front-of-house operations while expertly navigating the complexities of UAE medical insurance processing.

Key Responsibilities

**Patient Experience & Front-of-House:** Welcome patients warmly, manage check-ins/registrations, coordinate clinic flow to minimize wait times, and handle patient inquiries via phone and email with absolute professionalism.

**Insurance Verification & Pre-Authorization:** Verify patient eligibility, co-payments, and deductibles across major UAE insurance portals.

Prepare and submit timely prior-approval requests with accurate ICD-10 and CPT coding.

**Regulatory & Digital Compliance:** Ensure flawless data management within our EMR/HR platform, maintaining strict alignment with **DOH Abu Dhabi regulations**, **Malaffi** synchronization protocols, and accident-related reporting mandates.

**Claims & Rejection Management:** Proactively track submitted claims, investigate any denials, gather necessary clinical evidence from medical staff, and swiftly handle resubmissions to maintain an optimal approval rate.

**Financial Reconciliation:** Collect patient co-payments or self-pay fees, manage the daily cash float, and perform precise end-of-day financial reconciliations.

Requirements & Qualifications

**Language Skills:** **Native or professional fluency in both Arabic and English (written and spoken) is mandatory.** You must be capable of explaining complex insurance terms clearly to both Arabic- and English-speaking patients.

**Experience:** Minimum of 2–3 years of hands-on experience in medical insurance coordination or medical reception within Abu Dhabi.

**System Expertise:** Direct, practical experience navigating local insurance platforms (e.g., Daman, Thiqa, NextCare) and a solid understanding of **DOH regulations** and **Malaffi**.

**Technical Proficiency:** Strong skills in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and standard administrative platforms.

**Core Competencies:** Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, sharp attention to detail, strong multi-tasking capabilities, and a proactive mindset focused on operational efficiency.

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
