The role prepares pizzas and pasta dishes while maintaining food quality, hygiene, and kitchen standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook pizzas and pasta dishes according to the menu and customer orders.
- Prepare fresh pizza dough, sauces, and toppings; stretch, shape, and bake dough using professional kitchen ovens.
- Prepare different pasta types, sauces, and toppings, and cook dishes to recipes and presentation standards.
- Prepare and cut vegetables, meats, cheese, and other ingredients.
- Monitor ingredient stock and inform the supervisor when supplies are low.
- Maintain food quality, portion control, and consistency.
- Keep the kitchen and workstations clean and organized; follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
- Work efficiently with kitchen team members during busy hours.
- Follow recipes and instructions from the Head Chef or Kitchen Supervisor.
Requirements and skills
- Previous experience as a Pizza Chef, Pasta Chef, or in a similar restaurant kitchen role.
- Hands-on experience preparing pizza dough, pizzas, pasta, and sauces.
- Knowledge of different pizza styles and pasta dishes.
- Familiarity with professional kitchen equipment and ovens.
- Good understanding of food hygiene and safety standards.
- Ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen.
- Good teamwork and time-management skills.
- Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Immediate availability is an advantage.
Pay
- Pay is AED 2,500–3,000 per month.
Work location
- Work is in person.
