Role overview

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook pasta dishes according to recipes and standards.
• Prepare sauces, ingredients, garnishes, and station mise en place.
• Cook and finish pasta accurately during service; maintain consistency in taste, portions, cooking, and presentation.
• Organize and maintain the pasta station throughout service.
• Monitor ingredient freshness and proper food storage.
• Keep the workstation clean, organized, and stocked; follow food safety, hygiene, and kitchen procedures.
• Work efficiently and communicate with the kitchen team during service.
• Participate in pre-opening training, recipe testing, and kitchen setup.

Requirements

• Previous professional experience as a Pasta Cook or in a similar hot-kitchen role.
• Strong experience preparing and cooking pasta dishes.
• Knowledge of sauces, cooking techniques, and proper pasta preparation.
• Ability to manage mise en place, work efficiently during busy service, and follow recipes consistently.
• Reliable, punctual, organized, and able to work well as part of a team.
• Experience in an Italian restaurant or kitchen is preferred.
