Dishwasher Steward

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
• Keep dishwashing and kitchen areas clean and organized; maintain clean floors, work areas, sinks, and back-of-house areas.
• Handle and dispose of kitchen waste properly, and return clean equipment and utensils to their correct areas.
• Assist with receiving, organizing, and storing kitchen supplies when required; support the kitchen team with basic tasks.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures and maintain cleanliness during service and at closing.
• Participate in pre-opening cleaning, organization, and kitchen setup.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Kitchen Steward, Dishwasher, or in a similar restaurant or hospitality role is preferred.
• Good understanding of kitchen cleanliness and hygiene; able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Physically able to handle the demands of a busy kitchen.
• Reliable, punctual, organized, willing to work as part of a team, and willing to learn and follow instructions.

• The role is at Expo Village, Dubai, UAE.
• Employment type is full-time; the restaurant is in pre-opening status.
