Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach retailers in fashion, electronics, beauty, home, and everyday essentials.
• Use existing relationships and direct outreach to secure meetings with merchant decision-makers.
• Present Getti’s proposition, including how merchants can reach additional customers while retaining control of products, pricing, and inventory.
• Lead partnership discussions, handle objections, and negotiate commercial terms.
• Manage follow-ups and maintain a clear opportunity pipeline with next steps.
• Coordinate merchant onboarding with product and technical teams.
• Share merchant feedback to improve the proposition and onboarding experience.

What the employer is looking for

• Proven experience in merchant acquisition, retail partnerships, or e-commerce business development.
• Established relationships with UAE retailers, brands, or retail groups and access to relevant decision-makers.
• Track record of personally securing and closing commercial partnerships.
• Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Ability to explain a new product in simple, commercially relevant terms.
• Proactive approach and ability to work independently in an early-stage startup.

Relevant additional experience

• Experience in e-commerce platforms, payments, BNPL, or retail technology is particularly relevant.
• Arabic language skills and wider GCC merchant relationships are a plus.
